Are you finding it hard secure a job? Are you looking to learn some new skills, get paid, get qualified and help support the community?

ABOUT YOU

  • Aged 15-25
  • Finding it difficult securing employment or under-employed
  • Not currently enrolled in high school
  • Are an Australian or New Zealand citizen
  • Enthusiastic and willing to learn
  • Haven't participated in a Skilling Queenslanders for Work program before
     

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • 24 week traineeship
  • Three separate roles you can apply for: 
    Hospitality - 10 positions available - Gain valuable skills and experience in our commercial kitchen with Connections Catering, learn barista skills and work events!
    Retail - 6 positions available - Work and run our game store Misfits United along with our skate + scooter shop Ride Supplies & café!
    Admin & Events - 2 positions available - Gain administrative skills and experience with the Redcliffe Youth Space and learn how to plan and work events like Picnic Hill!
  • During the traineeship you will attend workshops and learn a variety of skills
  • Leave with Certificate I in Workplace Skills.
